The Role

We’re looking for a confident, organised and customer‑focused Receptionist to join our MRO Services team in Hamilton. As the first point of contact for visitors, customers and staff, you’ll play a key role in keeping our operation running smoothly and professionally.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys variety, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.

 

About the Job

You’ll be the friendly face and voice of our Hamilton site, responsible for a wide range of administrative and customer‑service duties, including:

  • Receptionist duties - answering phones, greeting visitors, coordinating enquiries
  • Administration support — creating POs, processing invoices, ordering uniforms/stationery, filing, mail handling, learning our ERP systems
  • Staff support — organising staff functions, coordinating travel with our Travel Coordinator, processing timesheets and attendance registers
  • Workshop admin — opening/closing Aeronet jobs, typing engine log entries, supporting Engine and Propeller Shops
  • Accounts support — receivables for all divisions, payables for parts, invoicing for NDT/Calibration/ECNZ/Airframes
  • Hamilton contact for H&S and People & Capability teams
  • General site support — keeping shared spaces tidy and supporting other admin areas as needed, including back up for Technical Publications

About You

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable and committed to great service. You’ll need:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a reception or administration role
  • Strong customer‑service focus and a professional communication style
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
  • Confidence working independently and meeting deadlines
  • Solid problem‑solving ability and a can‑do attitude
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Experience in the aviation sector or a technical/engineering environment.
  • Excellent organisation and multitasking skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Efficient, well organised and takes pride in quality work
